Nestled in the mountains of up state New York, Helderberg Mountain Forest Products has established a reputation for quality products while keeping at the forefront of the industry.
Helderberg Mountain started out as a tree service and firewood producer in 1970. In 1975 it was one of the first land clearing companies established within the capital district. Helderberg Mountain devoted much of its resources in those days to the chipping and clearing for water and sewer lines as well as new roadways and building sites. In 1990 Helderberg Mountain purchased a Morbark Debarker and shifted its operation and began producing bark mulch and debarked firewood. In 1995 Helderberg Mountain produced its first color enhanced mulch. Presently Helderberg mountain produces non recycled , natural, and color enhanced mulches as well as debarked firewood.
